Dr. Sara Kuhn-Watson (She/Her) (They/Them) is a licensed psychologist offering individual and couples/relationship therapy to adults of all ages and abilities. She is expressly dedicated to working with LGBTQIA+ clients and adults exploring or engaged in ethically non-monogamous or monogamous relationships. She has intensive training in Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) and Sex Therapy. Her expertise includes working with clients navigating challenges involving relationships, work/life stress, life transitions, grief and loss, sexual and gender identity, gender transition, sexual health, depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, and bipolar/mood disorders. Her aim is to provide a safe, affirming space for all clients to explore what growth and change means for them in their personal and ever-evolving journeys toward health, meaning, and worth. Her integrative approach derives from techniques and specialized training in:

Education

Dr. Kuhn-Watson received her undergraduate degree (BFA) from the University of Utah and her Master of Arts in Psychology and PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Dakota. She completed her internship at the Wisconsin Psychiatric Institute and Clinics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is currently completing her post-doctoral placement at The Psychology Center.
