Dr. Koziol has been a licensed clinical psychologist in the State of Wisconsin since 1995. He has had adult generalist training which enables him to treat a diverse range of clients (16+). Dr. Koziol works with a diverse population of patients treating problems with depression, anxiety, anger control, life transitions, and workplace difficulties. He specializes in working with individuals who have been "stuck" repeating negative patterns. These negative patterns are called Schemas or Life Traps which create mood disorders, workplace and educational dysfunction, and relationship problems as well as diminish people's capacities to develop their potential and build happiness in their lives. Dr. Koziol has been doing Schema-Life trap work in a group psychotherapy format for over 17 years. He has developed a website of schema therapy materials he has written to assist his patients in therapy. Dr. Koziol also conducts pre-employment, promotional and fitness for duty evaluations for police departments, and works with governmental agencies by conducting psychological suitability assessments for employees whose job responsibilities require them to function safely and effectively.

Education

Dr. Koziol received his undergraduate degree (BS) from Marquette University and his masters (MA) and doctorate (PhD) degrees in Psychology from the University of South Dakota. He has been in private practice for over 20 years.
