Nikita provides individual and couples therapy for adults. She specializes in life transitions and those looking to increase relational success and attunement with their emotions. Nikita is very passionate about supporting the queer community of Madison - people struggling with their intersectional gender, sexuality, race and culture related identities. Nikita has experience working with grief, anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, and life transitions. Nikita uses Emotion-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, techniques from the Gottman Method, overall helping her community build somatic-mindfulness skills to enhance the quality of everyday life. Nikita aims to foster a warm, neurodivergence-affirming and collaborative albeit non-traditional environment for all those motivated to invite positive change and wellness in their lives.

Education

Nikita received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the State University of New York in Stony Brook. She received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of San Diego.
