Karla Handel, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Karla Handel has been practicing psychotherapy since 1995. She has an adult generalist background which enables her to treat a diverse range of clients. She also has an extensive background in family work and sees adolescents (13+). Karla works within a cognitive behavioral perspective and has expertise in EMDR, mindfulness, and is strength based and solution focused.

Education

Karla Handel received her education from UW Madison. She completed a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1989 along with a Certificate in Women’s Studies. She completed a Master of Science in Social Work in 1994. She has extensive post graduate training in family therapy, trauma, and mindfulness.
