Dr. Davey is a licensed psychologist who works with adults and has particular interest and expertise in working with grief and trauma, including sexual trauma, victims of crime, loss to suicide, or PTSD. She commonly works with individuals and couples related to depression, bipolar disorder, brief psychotic disorder, perinatal concerns, life transitions, relationship concerns, and identity. Additional areas of interest for couples include LGTBQ, open relationships, physical intimacy, emotional intimacy, and communication concerns. Dr. Davey's approach is grounded in a feminist multicultural framework that aims to provide a nonjudgmental collaborative relationship. She uses a variety of approaches to improve well-being and decrease distress including behavioral interventions, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and trauma informed care.

Education

Dr. Davey received her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Utah. She completed her internship at University of Oregon University Counseling and Testing Center and her postdoctoral fellowship at Reed College Health and Counseling Center. She has over seven years of practicing as a licensed psychologist.
