Stacy Killinger, PhD
Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Killinger is a licensed psychologist who works with adults of all ages who are struggling with an array of emotional concerns including depression, anxiety, stress and relationship struggles. In addition, she has a particular area of interest and expertise in working with young adults (~18-28) who are navigating personal, academic, career, and identity issues. Dr. Killinger's approach is integrative, but grounded in client centered and attachment theory. She strives to create a warm, safe, nurturing space for self-exploration, healing and growth. She sees her role as a therapist as being a guide who walks with clients on their personal journeys and helps them find balance and emotional wholeness. Her goal is to help clients achieve a deeper connection with themselves and others. Dr. Killinger uses a variety of approaches to improve well-being and relieve suffering including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Behavioral Activation. Dr. Killinger also has specialized training in Expressive Arts Therapy and mindfulness.
Assessments/Evaluations
Dr. Killinger also provides psychological assessments for adults including presurgical evaluations for gender affirming surgery and court-ordered parental competency evaluations.
